Six honest questions. A real number, not a lead form. We use the same math we use for our own written quotes. The result is a range. Your real price lands somewhere inside it, usually toward the middle.

How tall is the house from the ground to the peak of the roof?
One: Ranch or single-floor home. Crew can usually reach the eaves from a normal ladder.
Stand at the curb and look at the side of your roof. Match it to one of these shapes. If you can't tell, pick standard. Most NC homes are standard.
Standard: The typical NC roof. Walkable but you feel the slope. Most ranches and traditional two-story houses are here.
What goes on top. Each material has a different lifespan, look, and cost.
Architectural shingle: The standard. Layered asphalt shingle. 25 to 30 year life. What most NC homes have right now.
Look at the roof from the curb. Count the peaks, dormers, and corners. More angles means more flashing and more time.
Moderate: Typical two-story home. One or two dormers. A valley or two. One chimney.
Local labor and dump-fee differences. Triangle and Charlotte are our baseline.

Why we built this tool the way we did.
Most roofer “calculators” online aren't calculators. They're contact forms with a fake number screen that says “we'll email you a quote.” You give up your phone and email, then a salesperson calls. We got tired of customers telling us they'd been through that. So we built this instead.
